We offer a comprehensive electron microscopy service involving the following techniques:

Transmission Electron Microscopy (JEOL JEM-100SX) Services:

Examination of tissue and cell culture samples;
Positive staining (i.e. fixation, dehydration, embedding, polymerisation and sectioning of tissue samples);
Negative staining (i.e. preparation of Formvar grids, preparation of micrographs);
Interpretation of images and findings.

Scanning Electron Microscopy (Hitachi S520) Services:

Examination of tissue and cell culture samples;
Fixation, dehydration, and critical point drying of biological samples;
Sputter coating of samples;
Screening and photographing samples and production of micrographs;
Interpretation of images and findings.
