Lamellar Biomedical Ltd recognises the need to develop and commercialise its Lamellasomes™ technology and by working with others to bring the benefits of Lamellasomes™ products to the patient in an efficient and timely manner. 

In this regard Lamellar Biomedical has been successful in forging strong links with the Scottish clinical community and is pleased to be working with the Vision Sciences Unit at Glasgow Caledonian University in our dry eye disease program and the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre in our radiotherapy induced xerostomia program.


Additionally Lamellar Biomedical is progressing with clinical program to investigate the role of LMS-611 as a medicinal product in cystic fibrosis.  This program is being led by the West of Scotland Cystic Fibrosis unit led by Dr Steve Bicknell and Dr Gordon MacGregor.


On the research front of Lamellar has been successful in applying for three PhD studentships which will be held at the Roslin Institute and the Universities of Glasgow and Strathclyde.
